Robins are my first tangible memory of being close to a bird. One flew into the caravan at Inverbeg and Grampa Alan gently caught him. Holding the wee trembling bundle, he brought us closer to look. We gave it the tiniest of pats and watched for a while, in awe. And then, oot the door to freedom for him. My heart was stolen x
